At Protean Training Services we recognise and understand your training needs are diverse and often challenging in an ever-changing World. We are a flexible, adaptable and multi-faceted training provider offering a bespoke service that meets your needs. That’s why we called ourselves Protean, after Proteus, the Greek mythological character who could change his shape and form.
About us
Protean has a diverse, extended team of highly skilled trainers and facilitators, with a wealth of experience and knowledge, many of whom are subject matter experts who work in the UK and Internationally. Our main focus is helping private sector businesses, local authorities, charities, public sector agencies, Governmental Departments and the Emergency Services.
Protean provides training services across a broad spectrum of sectors and themes. Our courses are bespoke, designed and delivered to meet your specific requirements. If you prefer, we can also deliver your own content and provide train the trainer services. We welcome the opportunity to discuss your training needs, whatever they may be and where ever you are located.

Consultation
We listen and work in partnership with you to develop an understanding of what your needs, aims and learning outcomes are. Some client’s needs are quite straightforward, whereas others may need a thorough training needs analysis, involving employee focus groups, key stakeholder engagement or shadowing staff to identify the detail we need to tailor training for your specific needs.

Creation of your bespoke learning programme
Based on your needs, aims, learning outcomes, scope of the learning programme and our assessment, we will design your bespoke training programme to fit the delivery method that best suits your organisational demands.

Selection of trainers and facilitators
Protean’s founder will personally select the right trainers for your organisation. He will consider the expertise required, training delivery method and personal style that compliments your organisations culture and image.

Delivery
The most exciting stage, where we use our expertise to deliver your bespoke programme. We have a robust system of continual review, whereby each session is reviewed by the trainers and delegate feedback sought. This enables us to respond quickly to your feedback and our own reviews, so we can make any necessary adjustments to ensure we maintain an exceptional standard of training.

Review
At the completion of the training programme, we encourage our clients to meet with us and review the effectiveness of the training programme and learning outcomes.
